#### How to encrypt data
You can encrypt strings using the following example:
```sh
echo -n 'Super secret pillar' | gpg --armor --batch --trust-model always --encrypt --recipient "${KEY_ID}"
```
Or you can encrypt files using the example bellow:
```sh
gpg --armor --batch --trust-model always --encrypt --recipient "${KEY_ID}" \
--output /tmp/gpg_id_ed25519 ~/.ssh/id_ed25519
cat /tmp/gpg_id_ed25519
```
On macOS you can pipe the output to `pbcopy` to copy the encrypted data to the clipboard. If you are using Linux, you
can use `xclip` or `xsel`.
